Testing Blog Clients

posting from scribefire again to bump the theme into the second row.

I’m editing this post in Bournemouth so I can try and work out what the layout will look like with lots more text.

When I get my acer back from Georges I will upload a post which has multiple photo’s and see if I can break the layout, so far it looks good.

Other things to do:

  • fix BG so that it doesn’t tile - or use a higher-res image, maybe save a profile for exporting from picasa for the website BG image.
  • Figure out how to get a fixed URL which can be replaced, for the BG image, if possible.
  • check out 18-200 mm lenses, although £200 is about as good as it gets I think.
  • see if youtube can be integrated a bit better, or figure out how to export from picasa to vimeo.

Look at the site in various browsers and put a prominent link to skype calls if possible at the top, also see if permanent posts can be created but hidden from the normal browsing traffic, then link to them in the info part at the top, If so - migrate the current benpascoe.co.uk to this system.

Also redirect the URL, and change the font and colour scheme and remove anything unwanted.

That should be long enough to test if the layout breaks in Safari at least, check firefox and IE later on.

Also to do: get IE set up on the Acer for Charlie.
