They let me take my bodyboard on a BA flight, just hope it arrives in one piece in St Lucia. Charlie and I are very tired, been a loooong day, looking forward to getting some rest on the flight… hopefully. No panics yet, all going smoothly, touch wood we’ll arrive safe and sound in 11 hours time ish.

I’ve been looking into the best way to get some decent maps of South and Central America onto my netbook which I can view offline with no internet connection, gmapcatcher looks promising… just need to find an efficient way to download the maps I need without scrolling around for ages.

I’ve decided to completely change benpascoe.co.uk to a tumblr based blog with a few permanent pages with general info on them. The main reason is that I’m off on a 4 month travel spree with Charlie through South and Central America, with a few more stops on the way too, and I wanted an easy to find URL and RSS feed for people to keep up to date with.
